UNIVERSITY HONOURS ROGER DALTREY
The Who frontman, Roger Daltrey has received a prestigious award from University College Dublin.
The lead singer of the rock legends visited the university’s Literary and Historical Society on Wednesday to accept its James Joyce Award.
Previous recipients of the UCD gong include: Beatles’ producer, Sir George Martin; academic Noam Chomsky; US comic Will Ferrell; writer Sir Salman Rushdie; former UN weapons inspector Hans Blix and Harry Potter author JK Rowling.
None of these, however, expressed such revealing theories about why rock stars of yore threw TVs out of hotel windows!
