Still want more? OK, here’s a video of ‘Baba O’Riley’ from The Who With Orchestra live at Wembley, 6 July 2019.
one of the greatest bands this country has had I cant wait for this new cd dvd to come out Iv heard one or two tracks and its amazing
As I was there I was interested to hear this, to be fair it’s much better than I had feared, my only negative would be that on the day the fine bass playing was inaudible but on the album is in its proper place, perhaps this is an onstage sound issue? To close this is well worth getting and handsomely presented.
Hello, When will we get a real BLU-RAY? So with the video of this Concert. And not just the soundtrack even if it is, among other things, in DOLBY ATMOS.
Few people have this kind of equipment. In addition, the sound recorded on stage and mixed is not the best. I would be ashamed for the studio and the distributor. We want the concert on video on DVD or better on BLU-RAY. That would be a minimum for us. Shame on you for this 2CD + Blu-ray audio choice. We feel like we’ve been robbed. And also our favorite band.
Unless it’s a commercial move that the video version comes out a little later. A year or more. So that he makes a little more money.
Very cordially
Alain A fan of The Who
Hi Alain, the Wembley concert wasn’t filmed for DVD or Blu-ray. The only filming was for the live back screens at the show.
I got it thinking the Blu-ray was the video concert of the show with the CDs as the music. I was surprised the Blu-ray was the audio, too. I wish they had the video concert even if it was a different venue!
As a Life long Who super fan and an oldie – I was there in 1964 at Manor Ball Room Ipswich and again at Wembley in 2019 – Really looking forward to reliving the concert on Blu -Ray – had no Idea -why you would release just an Audio Blu Ray when the CDs were included. I thought I had bought the BluRay video of the Concert. The concert was excellent and the CDs too – but so sad the Blu Ray wasn’t Video.
The filming for the live back screens at the show would still make a stunning DVD/Blu-ray for us die hard Who fans.
