The Who Convention 2013

It’s been a week now since the Who Convention 2013 at Bush Hall, Shepherds Bush, London, onto which diehard/livewell Who fans descended from all over. The weekend celebrated The Who with a series of amazing performances by Who tribute bands of all shapes and sizes, topped off with a set by the one and only Simon Townshend. There were also interactive interviews with Who cognoscenti and the auction of a mouth-watering array of Who goodies and merch, generously donated by all and sundry. Organiser Shaun Baird has now confirmed that around £10,000 was raised in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.

The Who team would like to extend congratulations and thanks to Shaun Baird and all who helped him to organise the weekend as well as to all the fans who attended and who made the weekend such a resounding success.
