I took my daughter (who is 15) to her first Who concert last night. Mind you that she has been listening to the Who since she was born from her dad,(me). We LOVED the show. Hope Pete and Roger can keep it up and never die before they get old.
Loved the show last night at the Target Center in Minneapolis, November 27, 2012. The pictures shown here are NOT from last nights show as they were wearing different clothes. Anyone have pictures from last nights show?
The show in Minneapolis last night was fantastic. First saw the Who here in 1969 at the Guthrie Theater on their world tour promoting Tommy. I was 15 and just starting on a career in music as a drummer. So very glad the have come across the pond and played for us again. Well done lads.
My friends and I are down to our last couple of months left in Teenage Wasteland, and we could have asked for no better sendoff. It’s been a dream of mine to see The Who live for several years, and no one in my group could believe it was actually happening, and that we were actually there.
I may be a young fan, but you put on the greatest concert I’ve ever experienced. We cheered, we sang, we danced, and we cried, and it was all glorious. Dreams came true that night. For all of us.
Long live The Who, from one g-g-g-generation to another. <3
The highlight of my life…1972 at the old Bloomington Metropolitan Sports Center. They had just finished Who’s Next….and I saw them at their pinnacle. What a show. Roger swinging that mike, Pete doing circles and Keith pulling sticks out after he broke so many all night. And there was John off to the right as still as a statue. And yes, Pete smashed his guitar at the end. It was Pure and Easy…no Tommy although they kept on crying for it. I was glad they just played that album.
Boy what I would have given to be in Minneapolis on the 27th.
