Cincinnati 2020: Waiting to sing with The Who
Today, April 23, 2020, we stand together as a GOLD WAVE in solidarity to let The Who, Trinifold Management, LiveNation, BB&T Arena and the entire world know that we are #PEMSTRONG and that nothing will stand in the way of The Who playing in our hometown to recognize, remember and reflect on the 11 lives lost on December 3, 1979 outside Riverfront Coliseum:

What a great ‘partnership’ remembering the friends we lost.
THANK YOU
THANK YOU!
Can’t wait guys! Glad I got to see you and meet some of the band in Lauderdale. Hang in there. This too shall pass.
God bless you all. We shall always remember and honor those who were lost.
Survivors of that night and family members of some of the victims also provide new and chilling accounts of the crowd crush responsible for the deaths. They share intimate details of their loved ones to mark 40 years since the event. The band members and Finneytown residents also reveal a special relationship between The Who and Finneytown High School, where three of the victims were students. The documentary shares how that relationship has turned a horrible night into something positive.
In loving memory of Stephan, Jackie and Karen from Finneytown High School, and to all those loved and lost that night. 40 years ago…we were all so young and so excited…and never would have imagined this happening! May we all stay safe until next we meet….
If you are a fan of The Who, that was so powerful – no matter where you live. God bless all those who were lost and the loved ones they left behind.
Thank you for sharing in memories. I can only imagine how much time & effort it would take to resemble the tour yet we all would be so grateful for your choice and effort. I can only hope the opportunities in time & space allow our paths an experience as there once was a note pure & easy…
i may live on long island here in new york but i remember that night over 40 years ago now like it was yesterday, the who had done a fantastic run of shows the previous september at madison sq garden in nyc, i was very young then and so shocked, its nice to see roger and pete participating with the families of the 11 lost that awful night so long ago, my prayers have always been with the families of the victims that evening in december 1979, it
is wonderful to see all these decades on THE VICTIMS
HAVE NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN anyway once we all get through the current covid 19 crisis im sure all of you out there will be in for a WHO show of your lives!! god bless & be safe ed
Dad would not let me go. He saw the show previously and told me that it was going to be dangerous, because the forum could not control the crowd.
My classmates went though. They told me it was a mess, and all hell broke loose when the crowd heard the instruments getting checked.
I still have not seen The Who live, and now I wonder if I ever will.
Sad.
