Former Who publicist Peter Meaden is found dead at home.

Who fans ‘Irish’ Jack Lyon, Steve Margo and Peter Johns organise a Who memorabilia exhibition, Who’s Who at the ICA in The Mall, London, that is attended by Pete and Keith.

Keith Moon dies in his Mayfair flat from an accidental overdose of pills he had been taking to aid alcohol withdrawal. An open verdict is recorded. The rock world mourns one of its favourite sons.
