Wilko Johnson recording farewell album with Roger Daltrey

Terminally ill Wilko Johnson is recording a farewell album with Roger Daltrey.
The former Dr Feelgood guitarist decided to team up with The Who’s Daltrey after the pair met at an awards ceremony this month.
“They did tell me in January I’d be dead in October,” says Wilko, “but I may last into next year. I hope we’ll have something done before I go.”

I saw Wilko and Norman Watt-Roy + a fine but unknown to me drummer two years ago supporting the Stranglers.
They were very good and giving the last drop, good luck to him I hope there’s a good album to come?
I have met Wilko in the 70th in Amsterdam.
