‘We Are The Mods’ Competition Winner
He was recognised as the ‘Ace Face’ at The Who’s 8th July’s Wembley Show in the competition ran by Universal Music through The Who’s UK/European tour of Quadrophenia – “We Are The Mods”. And now he’s just been recognised as the Ultimate Ace Face of the tour. He’s Dante Gabriel di Carlo from London.
Dante’s prize? A Fender Stratocaster, signed by Pete Townshend.
Dante’s reaction? “I’m over the moon, I’ve never won any sort competition before. It’s the perfect competition to win as I’m a big guitar player and I’ve even played in a Who tribute band.”
