White Label Auction in aid of the Brits Trust
The biggest ever white label auction will take place on 7 June 2022 in aid of The Brit Trust
Over 170 lots of collectible LP album and 7″ single test pressings to go under the hammer.
Including white label test pressings from The Who: Quadrophenia, Who’s Next, My Generation, Meaty Beaty Big & Bouncy, The Who By Numbers, Live At Leeds, The Kids Are Alright, Who’s Greatest Hits and The Who: Icon.
Plus rare test pressings by Coldplay, Diana Ross, Biffy Clyro, Gorillaz, Foals, Tears For Fears, Iggy Pop, Charli XCX, Sparks, Genesis, The Police, Brian Eno, Rush, Iron Maiden, Muse, Paul Weller, The Jam, The Style Council, Roxy Music, Peaky Blinders, Simple Minds, The Specials, Spice Girls, T-Rex and more as well as signed white labels from the Cure, Dio, OMD, the Orb and Magazine.

Funds raised will go to support the work of recorded music industry charity The BRIT Trust, which since 1989 has donated around £28 million to charities and causes that promote education and wellbeing through the power of music and the creative arts, such as the BRIT School and Nordoff-Robbins music therapy. The White Label Auction has raised close to £60,000 for The BRIT Trust over its two editions to date – around £25,000 in October 2019 and up to £34,000 in May 2021.

The BRIT Trust is the music industry’s charity, with a mission to improve lives through the power of music, and is funded in large part through monies raised annually by The BRIT Awards and the Music Industry Trusts (MITS) Award. Since its founding by UK record labels and the BPI in 1989, the Trust has distributed over £27 million to a broad range of progressive charities that promote education and wellbeing through music, with over half this amount going to The BRIT School, the UK’s leading performing and creative arts school that is free to attend, and Nordoff Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy provider.
