ROCK LEGEND PETE TOWNSHEND LAUNCHES HIS STUNNING QUADROPHENIA STAGE SHOW IN PLYMOUTH
It was an emotional evening all round as Who fans and regular theatre goers, mods and all sorts packed the house at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth for the first night of Quadrophenia. “Leave any preconceptions you may have at home and make sure you see this extraordinary reworking by Pete Townshend himself of one of his greatest creations at a theatre near you (if you’re lucky enough to live in the UK)”, says the editor of www.thewho.com. “This is a radically different interpretation of a seminal work, challenging, demanding, exhausting and ultimately libersting – a genuine rock opera.”
