This was a great gig, just before the Who went off on their US tour. It was one of the all-niters put on by Brunel University Students Union (I was president) – and it was one of the best. The line up for the night included:
Crazy World of Arthur Brown
Elmer Gantry’s Velvet Opera
Jethro Tull
Alan Bown
Tickets wer 18 shillings in advance – but a guinea at the door!!!
From midnight to 7 a.m.!!!
Great way to spend 60s
