'Who I Am': Rolling Stone Review

“His (Pete Townshend’s) tone is less lofty than anyone would have expected, just as this book is more honest than any fan would have hoped,” writes Rolling Stone’s Bob Sheffield. “Maybe nobody knows what it’s like to be the bad man, to be the sad man, behind blue eyes – but Who I Am is as close as we are likely to get.”

Rolling Stone gave Pete’s memoir a 4.5 star rating.

Pete, whatever you are or are not, he fact is that your work touches the lives of millions of fans over the years and for those like me, your music represents the sound track to my life. Every time I see the Who live, it is like getting back together with some slightly cantankerous (sic) but revered old mates. thanks pete and I can’t wait to read the book. By the way, any chance of a new Who album???
